Pros
I’ve noticed some challenges with the current night shift dynamic. Bianca Alexander, the night shift manager for pediatric pharmacy, often provides critical feedback despite not being present regularly during our shifts. This can sometimes come across as discouraging rather than constructive.
Additionally, Lezlie tends to be very hands-on in a way that can feel more like micromanagement than support. There have been instances where she closely follows my work, which can feel intrusive and impact my ability to perform confidently.
Overall, the environment at times feels more punitive than collaborative, and it’s beginning to affect morale. I’m committed to doing my best and would appreciate a more supportive and respectful approach to feedback and oversight.
Cons
The compensation is fair, and the director, Eva, is exceptionally kind and approachable. The team is currently experiencing staffing shortages, which creates frequent opportunities to pick up additional shifts for those who are interested.
