Pros
Good name on a resume, good pay and great benefits…. That’s all.
Cons
I’ve never met a company that needs a consultant to come in and restructure a business more than MLP does. Managers are near incompetent and clearly chosen by tenure and not by skill, lack of training to avoid being reprimanded for unknown circumstances is shocking, office is a glorified call center set up - if you can even find a desk. The company prides itself on it’s advanced use of technology, but the systems are from AOL dial up days and there’s 7 different systems for each step of your job. You may have rules in place, but your coworkers won’t based on favorites.
You’re promised opportunities and prestige, but this company is anything but that.
If I could tell anybody reading this right now any advice, if you want to be fulfilled and contribute to a company, run the other way and wait for another opportunity. It will come and you will be happier. There’s no room for your ideas here.
