I have worked at 4 different locations across 2 states. OG is corporate so they have the ability to keep restaurants supplied and staffed. You know what to expect going into work, not strict on standards but they follow them. Most managers are well trained and care about the staff. Serving is not the most money (avg $150/shift) but there is minimal side work. Mostly restock thru shift, no sweeping, mopping, soda machines, etc but that can vary in each store.

It's corporate, you are replaceable. Also, I have seen a couple people get promoted to manager that I wouldn't trust with my nonexistent kids. Thankfully, they usually don't last. It's relatively easy to work your way up and get promoted to manager, but I don't believe the pay is worth it, especially in CA. The bonus structure isn't great either.

Flexibility not a plus, not much room to maneuver.

Good benefits, schedule given for the whole month. One weekend off every month with rotating fri/sat/suns off. Two days off per week. Competitive bonus.

Upper management can tend to write schedules that favor them. No follow through on their end a lot of times. I think it’s specific to my store but my general manager is a bit complacent. Makes us do all their dirty work.

Pay was fair, schedule was okay but chaotic, benefits okay.

Be prepared to work more than what the promised hours are. You will be taking some work home with you. Never enough time to get things done. Training for managers is not good, you will not clearly understand what you need to know. Bonus was not that great. If you want to get promoted good luck, it will take a year in each manager area of responsibility before can move to the next area, so expect at least 3 years before you might be eligible to promotion. Lastly, this employees can call HR or file complaints on a manager. They may pay good, but just another corporate entity.
