Cons
Stats aren’t correct Service line is impossible to reach by phone Chat service is horrible, when they say they are done…there is no way to reconnect and everyone ignores you. Issues are never resolved! You will not get clear or professional responses to issues. Ban you for no legit reason. More like, oh we don’t like you questioned us so you banned! You couldn’t find location and asked for help, you are banned! Low pay for what you are doing and resources used in home.
Pros
Poplin is one of the top gig economy jobs in the U.S. especially in densely populated areas. You can build a reliable customer base, you can work from home and whenever you want, you have the potential to make base pay, tips, bonuses, and express service incentives.
Cons
The base pay is on the lower side, the app updates can cause occasional tech issues, The initial startup cost can be costly.
Pros
Opportunity for income Work from home
Cons
Low pay, less than $10 per hour Wait to be paid, minimum 3-5 days Treated poorly by corporate
Pros
Make my own schedule, met alit of wonderful clients. Was able to learn the new area I lived in.
Cons
No support from management. I've been doing this cake for 3 years. Would have been four in August two of those three years I was part-time and it was wonderful because I wasn't relying totally on poplin's salary for my bills until my second job was eliminated. I started working my base and got my clients up I was able to do five orders in 24 hours as long as I was able to take it to the laundromat and I still made a profit. One night I took eight orders and they were big orders which I shouldn't have done but I did because I had an outstanding $4,000 Bill to replace my transmission in my car. One of those orders had one item in it that didn't belong to them this client lived an hour away from me poplin got in touch with me and asked me to go back there to pick up some items that didn't belong to this customer. I explained to them I don't have a problem with that I can do that tomorrow on my returns of the other six orders that I had left to complete they wanted me to do it right now this moment. It was in the middle of rush hour it was 4:30 and the weather was very bad it was raining and Misty I explained to them you guys are not at my location you're all the way in Utah you don't know the demographics of where I am it's going to take me forever and at that time the laundromat in my town was closed down so I was stuck with my one washer one dryer just one minute away from my home would have put me back an hour well to say the least I followed their directions I didn't get home till 4 hours later because it was a massive accident on the interstate all to find out it was one pair of jogger toddlers pants that belong to my granddaughter and it could have been picked up the next day. It set all of my orders late of 2 days after harassing me for the next 2 days to get these orders done which I told them please I'm getting them done as fast as I can they suspended my account for further investigation. They never got back to me they dropped my executive position down to a platinum I have not received not one order in a month which I know has nothing to do with the algorithm because most of my clients tip me when they're going to put their next order in it's supposed to be if you are requested by your client it shows up on your ends of your dashboard. to say that they don't support their employees is an understatement they have also not sent out people to investigate customers that have said that my laundry was not smelling fresh after I spent three days doing the 300 lb order and they simply took the money out of my account without investigation.
Pros
I've been working with Poplin since May 2023 and I have had a great experience! It has helped me get ahead financially while working my own schedule! It's a great service. It takes patience to get going but stick with it! My regular customers love it! Definitely recommended!
Cons
Pay could be higher considering supply costs
Pros
Flexible schedule Generally pretty easy work Most of the work is done at home You can do other things while the clothes are washing/drying
Cons
Low pay It takes a while to “rank up” to get more offers Customers often forget things in their pockets Some laundry is especially unsanitary
Pros
Per hour salary. On time.
Cons
No paid holidays is the only con.
Pros
Set your schedule and choose how much you want to do.
Cons
Pay is ridiculous and terrible. It’s a company of incompetent leaders who treat laundry pro’s terribly. People get deactivated wrongfully and they choose to keep the worst of the worst.
