What is a typical working day like at Sheetz?

The hours suck sometimes, but it’s retail, so what can you expect. Assistants and Store Manager have a set schedule, shift supervisors are on a rotating schedule. Stores’ hours are cut a lot, which leads to easily being understaffed. Very lenient attendance policy, so lots of call outs.

The only pro of working at Sheetz is you'll receive a paycheck. Everything else was awful.

- A single 30 minute break no matter shift length (often 12+ hours) - Recruitment and hiring process is slow, and recruiter will lie to get you in the door. - Store management seems to have no clue what is happening beyond the next task they need to complete, no direction or big picture understanding of anything. - Assistant managers reassigned to random stores to "improve performance" because senior managers have no idea how to evaluate performance on an individual basis. Seriously do not work at Sheetz unless you have zero other options.

Extra $1.50 per hour on Night shift, PTO to start

Constant work, long hours, minimal employees on shift, way too much work to accomplish by end of shift.
