Pros
The residents are nice. You get one free meal per shift.
Cons
Smiling is an actual enforced policy. During orientation, the administrator even described the culture as 'cult-like.' There are significant cliques, and because the company rarely lets people go, employees often have to tolerate difficult coworkers—including those who were frequently high while on the job. Also, there was a pattern of multiple staff members dating or even marrying residents' family members, which creates serious ethical concerns. Recognition programs use exaggerated titles like ‘Oh Great One’ instead of Employee of the Month, which is just weird. Frequently, staff would talk about how they were better than other similar facilities near by with utter disgust. I have never seen that anywhere else that I have worked.
