4Life Research interview questions

I only did a phone screening. They were super cagey about the pay. When they finally did tell me, it was less than I would make at a job at the university, and the university doesn't pay that well as it is. Why would I work for a private company with the same low pay as a university, but without the job security or benefits of a university?
