      Intern Interview

      1 Aug 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 9thWonder (Houston, TX)

      Interview

They are really nice people. The interview felt like a conversation, but be prepare to answer specific questions about your resume. My advice is to have examples ready to illustrate the qualities you listed in your cv.

      2 Feb 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Houston, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at 9thWonder (Houston, TX) in Mar 2014

      Interview

I submitted a resume and cover letter - mentioned my professor who has a good relationship with HR. They invited me into the office. There were 6 others in the room, and they called us back to meet with HR one at a time. Talking with HR lasted 5-10 minutes. I passed the HR test, so then I had an interview with my department head. If you've made it to this point, you have the internship. (Assuming you don't clash drastically with your department head).

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

In the first interview, they mostly asked me about my resume qualifications. They want to get a feel for WHERE you'd be a good fit, regardless of what position you applied for. Be open to their suggestions if they don't think you'd be a good fit for where you applied for. In the second interview, the department head really just wanted to make sure I could handle the role.
