Very simple they call you in for an interview and ask questions the specific manager finds appropriate for your position and even just to know more about you. They are mostly looking for open availability

Applied online and was called in the next day for an interview. Made an appointment for one the day after that. They called 2 hours later to offer me the job.
I waited a while for the manager, when I arrived she wasn’t there. It was a group interview. I honestly think the manager didn’t really care what we were talking about and just wanted to hurry up and get us out.

The interview process was the most horrible one I've had, I literally was interviewed in the middle of the store while the store was packed with customers it was uncomfortable. The manager was 20 minutes late.
