I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at A5 Labs in Jan 2023
Interview
First a call with the HR, then 2 online meetings and live assignments which can be considered easy. After passed those, I was invited for another meeting for system design, where we talked about cases. And then there was a final meeting with the head of engineering department where we chat briefly about my past experiences.

Interview
I was contacted by their recruiter, about a remote role at an internal project. The interview and negotiation process took two months. It consisted of many online rounds, including a big and interesting coding assignment. The compensation was at the market level. I decided to give it a shot, but I quit after a month because they were mean. I had to chase them for a while in order to get paid (that's disgusting). I recommend to avoid this employer, if you can.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at A5 Labs (Budapest) in Oct 2023
Interview
Terrible interviewing experience. Got notified of this position via a recruiter, for which they never got back to him. I then took it upon my own liberty to apply through their website, to which I never got a response for. A month later I got a connection request through LinkedIn, where I followed up on my application.
From that point on I was hurried through to an interview for a role that I didn’t originally apply for. During the interview I specified that, however we kept going, and I kept getting interview questions about technologies that I haven’t used before (not stated in the JD). The questions that I did get which were relevant to the role, were average in difficulty.
The interviewer was distracted and clearly didn’t want to be there, and overall it was a very awkward interview.
This may be a great place to work, but if they want to attract talent then A5 should seriously care more about candidates and their candidate pipeline.

Interview
This interwiew is a scam, they are asking about solutions for their current system issues. simple theft of know-how under the pretext of a job interview. Do not be deceived by them and do not agree to multi-stage recruitment processes.
