      I interviewed at AARP

      Interview

Terrible. Company truly does not care about you as an employee. Had a first round where I was treated horribly and was given 5 seconds to start answering my questions before the interviewer cut me off telling me she had heard enough. Not at all a personable person so I was already skeptical. She proceeded to tell me at the end of my interview that she was going to pass me over to the second round because she was very impressed by me and wanted me to stay on the call while we figured out a time that worked on both ends. I excitedly scheduled and proceeded to prepare for my interview. The night before my interview (the night of a holiday Monday) I get an automated email at 9:30 pm that my interview has been cancelled. I email the person from HR telling her about this and asking for clarifications. She did not even have the decency to send me a reply, she TEXTED ME saying "position has been filled so I cancelled your meeting". AT 10 PM ON A HOLIDAY. THE NIGHT BEFORE MY INTERVIEW. Irresponsible and disrespectful, good riddance.
