They contacted me quickly after I applied online to schedule a phone screen. The HR recruiter was very friendly and told me at the end of the conversation that she'd like to have me in for an in-person interview. I came in a week or two later and met with the hiring manager who seemed to be a great person to work for. The interview was conversational and the office seemed like an engaging place to be. At the end he told me he'd like to have me come and meet with his boss. This is where it took a turn south. The interview was scheduled and then they cancelled on me on the day of and told me they'd have to reschedule. Then they told me certain people would be on the interview panel when I arrived, but that didn't turn out to be the case. The primary person I was supposed to interview with wasn't even in the office because he was sick so he video conferenced in about 5-10 minutes late, and after I started into my 30 allotted minutes with the other interviewer. The disorganization seems typical of a startup but I didn't get the best impression from the two executives that I met with in the final interview and apparently they didn't have a great impression of me either because they didn't offer me the position.
