I applied for the Accounting Director position and was asked to complete two online assessments, which I promptly submitted along with the requested PDF of my results. The email stated that someone from HR would follow up to schedule an introductory phone interview within a week, but after three weeks without a response, I followed up myself. Unfortunately, another three weeks have passed since then, and I’ve received no reply. Being ghosted after investing time in assessments is both unprofessional and disrespectful. Clear communication would have been appreciated, even to inform candidates they’re no longer being considered.
