I applied for the role on Indeed then was sent an email from HR a few days later for an interview. I was interviewed by the two individuals. They were both dressed causal and ask me a few questions while having your CV in front of them. It was more a causal chat than an interview. The first half was just me explain my CV and them getting to know more about me. The second half was more about the role. Although, after the interview, I found out slowly what the interviewer promised in his own word “the company loves progression and it’s easy to move up in the company” was, in fact, a lie and something he could not grant. There was only him working in marketing for the whole company and there was no chance of progression in the role I applied for. A big red flag was that this is the only marketing department I know without a marketing budget.
