I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AI Proteins (Andover, MA) in May 2022
Interview
Zoom interview to start. Then they ask you to come in and prepare a scientific research presentation to present to the entire team. They give you a tour of the facility, give you lots of hope about getting the job. Then they are radio silent for weeks. Unless you get the job you'll receive a cold, one-sentence email from HR telling you "good luck".
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you have a good vibe? (Team-atmosphere seems superficially important. It's more because they are very "cliquey".)
I applied online. I interviewed at AI Proteins in Sept 2025
Interview
2 rounds
first round with the recruiter. I got rejected as they were not looking to hire international candidates on a Visa and they couldn't sponsor H-1B in the near future
Had to do an initial 30 minute interview and then come in person for a 2 hour interview with the team.
WARNING: Interview process was extremely unprofessional, as I received a verbal and email offer from the Hiring Manager and received a call from HR the very next day saying they picked someone else for the job.
