I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AIG (London, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
I had a phone interview then two separate interviews and an excel test. The meetings with the first two people were fine but the third interviewer was inappropriate and bizarre.
I was just finishing my Bachelor's and only had a few months of experience with my internships. I explained this but the interviewer really focused on me answering how I took a business plan and how I executed it to completion. I explained my internship roles, how I was really just working with data and was sadly not involved with a business plan; but tried to related the business plan ideals to my dissertation. The interviewer was really aggressive, and I think expected me to have a more entrepreneurial answer. I was not going to lie to him about my previous role.
He was asking me if we used really basic ratios at my previous role which again did not fit the internship I had at all. When trying to explain my place at the previous role I was cut off and told he knows what an intern does. It seemed like he read a book of interview questions, and harped on those. He also questioned how the very large, publicly traded, company I interned at could possibly be profitable??
I ended up taking another offer at an Investment Bank with normal hiring process but this one will go in the books of the weirdest interview yet! The company seems really dated and not willing to take no for an answer, you are better off lying to get ahead here.

Question 1
Describe a time you had to work as a team on a time intensive project.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at AIG (New York, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview process was made up of 2 video interviews and a case study presentation. The talent acquisition team is very kind and helpful throughout the process. Probably one of the better interviews I’ve ever experienced.
