Application
I applied through university. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2012
Interview
I first did a written test on campus, with math calculation (plus minus multiply and division), finding the rules behind a sequence, and basic market questions. Then a few weeks later, I received a call from the HR, and had the first telephone interview. Another week later, received another call from one of their traders, and had another round of phone interview. Both interviews are behavioral plus a little test on market knowledge, such as what is a market maker, what do market makers do. I was not invited to Chicago for the final round of interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What qualities does a market maker need to have? Do you have these qualities?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Did the Options 201 course. It consisted of math and options questions. Top performers of the course move on to a behavioral interview. Very standard behavioral questions like "why trading" / "why Akuna".
Good. some questions are hard but others are easy, the pace is good. overall it's average. I didnt pass. I've no idea why. But I think the interview process is fair.
