I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL in Nov 2019
Interview
first round: online test consists of pattern recognition, probability, and mental math
second round: pre-recorded video interview. 1st part is playing a game and verbalizing your thinking process, the 2nd part consists of mental math (while looking at the camera)
3rd round: junior trader phone interview. Why trading. Easy technical on probability
4th (final) round: senior trader video interview. Why trading. Difficult technicals on probability.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
100-side dice with number 1,2,...,100 on each side. You get paid $50 if you roll a 50, $75 if you roll a 75 etc. If you are unsatisfied with the result, you can pay $1 to roll again, you can roll as many times as you want. Question: what's the maximal amount you are willing to pay to enter this game (roll for the first time). Note that each subsequent play you only need to pay $1 to play again. What's your strategy?
two unprofessional first year traders came for the interview, who were literally yawning during the interview. One of them asking questions and they were just laughing on internal jokes all the time when I was talking.
Got passed to final rd after doing good in their invitation only options 201 course, tough final round. Mostly probability questions with unique twists but there are also some lifestyle questions under pressure.

Classic EV question on how much you would pay to play a game, then added twists
It is still in progress. I have taken the mental math and sequences tests, and am about to take the probability test. I also took a coding test but I think it was for another role.
