I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Valparaiso, IN) in Feb 2022
Interview
I arrived on time, she welcomed me in and immediately took off her mask as soon as I sat down. The whole thing went way too quick and I was not given a lot of info. Hiring manager seemed extremely uninterested and didn't seem to want to be bothered with the interviewing process. She gave a generalized description that was almost word for word matched to the website about the position, asked three rushed questions and sent me on my way.

Question 1
Only asked if I had ever been late to work, called off, and why I was looking for a different job.
Took me almost 3 hours, it could have been done way better and quicker. They filter all applicants on the spot instead of just invite those who qualified.
about 3-5 mins of interview, 1+ hours of waiting.

Interview
I applied on their website and was contacted to move forward with an interview, which ended up being a hiring event. The person who interviewed me seemed impressed by my experience and said they would be in touch. I then was asked to come in for another interview which was with a smaller group, where they showed us the warehouse and asked us to do a few physical tasks. Even though I have years of warehouse experience, I did not receive an offer.
Fast. Liked the original group interview method which helped get through the process quickly. Praying I get the job! This would be a really great opportunity! Global retailer with great core values and a place in the community
