I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at ALDI (Pittsburgh, PA) in Nov 2024
Interview
Very easy, straight forward. Make sure you talk about previous experiences in retail. I don't think they hire people who don't have any experience as it is a very fast pace work environment unlike any other.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"How would you handle a situation where you have multiple tasks to complete at once, like helping a customer, restocking shelves, and operating the cash register?"
There was a three-step interview process
A group interview, an individual, and a final interview with the district manager. There was roughly a 2-week period between each step. The process took a while, but everyone who interviewed me was very friendly.
Interview process went very smoothly. Within a week or two I heard from the store manager to scheduled the interview. After my interview with the store manager I spoke to the district manager and was offered a position shortly after that.

Interview
Super quick- said it was a group interview but it was just me and one other person and we were called in individually by the manager for about 5-10 minutes. Asked very basic questions, about 5. asked if I had any questions and then told me they'd let me know by the end of the week.
