The interview process definitely failed Alstom's own three core values: Agile, Inclusive and Responsible. Seems that the recruitement team didn't really care if they well prepared candidates. Everything was going well until the final stage, which was unprofessional, inefficient and inconsistent. More details: 1. No job description was provided, although the recruiter told every candidate before AC that a JD will be shared at the later stage. 2. I asked for a JD for the procurement grad role, but was told they didn't have one & that I should ask as many questions as I can during the interview to know about the role. Ironically, the interviewers didn't allow me to ask any questions. 3. Although the interviewers at the final stage were very supportive and friendly, they were just reading questions from a list. One of them even asked the same question which was already answered earlier. 4. According to the email, the final interview consisted of general, technical and competency questions, but in fact it was 98% competency based. No knowledge about Alstom was tested, either. 5. Alstom reimbursed travel expenses for AC, but it took more than 2 months due to internal issues...Nobody told me about the final interview result or gave an update for nearly 2 months. No feedback either but just a generalised rejection letter.
