I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied online. Make sure you are available afternoons/nights if you really want the job because availability is a big thing for them. I got a call around 3 days later and had a little pre-interview about tattoos, dress code, etc. and set up an interview for the next day. I dressed nicely and came in around ten mins early. They give you a brochure on the stubs program which you should study beforehand!!! it will make or break the interview!! they asked pretty easy questions and then asked me what the benefits of the stubs program were. I listed them off and she told me I would get a call the next day if I got the job. I didn't get the call until a week later and they told me a day to come to fill out my paperwork.

Question 1
List the benefits of the stubs program. If someone likes the benefits of the stubs program but doesn't come to the movies often, how would you sell it to them?

Interview
Process is fairly easy. If they're interested in your online application, they do a phone screening. If you do well on that one, they call you in to do an interview for the specific theater. Most of the questions are personality based. They do have you have you pitch AMC Stubs just to get a feel of how you'd present it to customers. Not sure why someone said people get hired on the spot as I never came across a crew member that got hired immediately, even if they were short staffed. Typically it takes a couple days before they give you a response.
