I applied online the beginning of the year and just got a call about 2 weeks ago to do a phone screen. They ask you if you would comply with the dress code and several questions like "Why would you like to work here?" and "How would you describe yourself?". It's important to sound enthusiastic. After, they offered me to go to a group interview. The person interviewing us told us that they usually do group interviews to get to know us and see if they like us or not. We were asked several questions about what we would do in certain situations and given the gist of what a film crew member does. After that, they told us if they liked us, we would be given a call to set up a one on one interview and that we should study the AMC stubs card. About a week later I got a call to set up an interview. I was asked questions of how I felt as a customer in places i went to and what I would bring to the table as an AMC member. After we got through the questions, we did some roleplaying where I pretended to be an AMC member and the person interviewing me was a guest/customer and I had to sell him the AMC stubs card.

Applied online and got called a month later. Had a 10 minute phone interview, which was very easy and got invited to a group interview 5 days later. I got there 30 minutes and was the first one there. They gave me a stubs card pamphlet to look over, but I had already done a lot of studying over the stubs cards so I only glanced at it. Only 4 of us showed up for the interview and the interview started 15 minutes late. Two lady's interview all of us with one talking and one taking notes. They interviewed us a little over 15 minutes giving us a rundown of the AMC theater, the dress code, employee benefits, hours, and stuff like that. Then they asked what our passion was, a time we had to interact with people we didn't know, and how to ensure guest happiness. After we all gave our answers, they stepped out for a few minutes and when they came back they said they were going to calls some names and if you heard your name you were hired and if not they were sorry and that you could reapply in 90 days. Me and another person got called, and after the others left, we each had a 15 minute individual interview. I went first and they asked me questions like a time I didn't get good service, a time I went into an unclean store, what brand I was loyal to and why, and stuff like that. Then they had me pitch the AMC Stubs Premiere card. Now all I have to do is finish signing some paperwork and start my training! :)

I submitted my resume online and a day or two later I got a call asking about my availability and a date and time for the interview. They gave me a paper to memorize the stubs membership and I waited no more than 10 mins for my interview. It was a 1 on 1 interview with the manager in his office reading basic questions from a paper. The setting was nice and relaxed with no pressure.
