I met my hiring manager when I was at ITC conference, he contacted me in December 2011 and mentioned there is an opening in his team. I went through three rounds of phone interviews. After that they invited me to AMD's office in Austin, Texas. (I was interviewed by 7 people for my onsite interview starting from 9am until 4pm)

I got a technical phone screen followed by five hour onsite interview. Most of the questions were from transistor-level design and analysis concepts in both analog and digital side. Overall was a very good interview experience with friendly and polite interviewers.
