I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at AMRE Supply (Edmonton, AB)
Interview
The interview process was a bit long as it is the first HR role they were hiring. It was still a good process and great informal interviews.
The president was in the interviews which was great as it helps you understand the vision of the company.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AMRE Supply (Edmonton, AB) in Jun 2014
Interview
I know that it has changed now, but when I was interviewed it was a simple process of checking over my resume and then following up with a phone call and then email. The process was very casual, but very straightforward as well. I visited the store and met with the Manager as well as my direct Senior. Of course nervous, but they were easy to talk to and made everything comfortable.
After the interview I was told there were other candidates, but they would let me know either way what happened. A few days past and I was called with the job! Another email followed with the specifics including a full handbook, what to expect, and other personal information.
