First was a phone interview from the hiring manager where she basically explained role and security clearance process. Interview asked about personal projects and questions about different situations you have been in and how to dealt with it. Asked questions about the languages you claim to know. One design question and one easy coding questions on whiteboard
I completed an initial phone screen, followed by an extensive take-home assessment. I was then told the team was happy with my submission and asked me to prepare for a technical interview.
After that, I was asked to wait while my clearance was confirmed even though it’s active and the level was already listed on my application. I spent over two weeks preparing for the technical interview while waiting for that confirmation, only to be told afterward that the position was no longer available.
Overall, it was a pretty frustrating experience and I wish there was more clarity, as the person I spoke to on the phone was nice.
I applied online. I interviewed at ARKA Group (Danbury, CT) in Jan 2025
Interview
Straight-forward interview, but in the end they decided not to move forward with filling the position. The entire process took approximately one month from talent acquisition reaching out until I was given an answer.
