Slower than most, hard to reach the (internal) recruiter. Decades of experience was well received by the team. Second session on site, got the offer and they tweaked a few specific details for the revised offer which I accepted. Although 25 years ago I almost completed my academic path, I moved into a software company anyway due to circumstances. So, long into the process, almost starting and after accepting the offer, now months since my first application which never stated a fully completed academic title (only path): they rejected due to not having a diploma. No discussion. 25 years of award winning work does not fit the ASML bureaucracy. I was stunned. Like really who cares! Amazed at this. Certainly as a local, recognizing all the visas government allows during a housing shortage - I certainly felt that visa requirements are too lax - nothing personal or so, but just felt like skills do not matter, just check the boxes. So, I felt that ASML, how much I admire their business, the hiring process was my worst experience of sorts for experienced savvy professionals. Sorry, all other may be ok.
