I interviewed with ASPE Training and was offered the NAM position in writing. I accepted in writing with my signature on their document and scanned emailed it back to the company. 7 Hours later (in a text of all things) their COO Amanda Alderman retracted the offer and instead sent "my exact offer" to a friend and former co-worker of mine at previous training company. That is to say, ASPE Trainng's COO Amanda Alderman literally forgot to remove my name from the offer document and resent the exact same offer to my friend. Before knowing this, I had asked why the offer was retracted. I was told by Amanda it was her decision alone to instead hire for the vacant RAM position first, since it was a position of need for a longer period of time. However, little did I know she was reaching out to a friend of mine instead, the same day I accepted. Very unprofessional and unethical practice, but I've since heard from several individuals who have applied and interviewed at ASPE who had similar experiences. Beware! if you're applying at ASPE Training and you receive an offer and accept said offer, don't count on it.. ... until you start work there. You are not really hired until you start your first day on the job, so there is nothing you can do IF Amanda changes her mind. The bigger issue for me, I unfortunately declined 2 other offers in favor of what I thought was a solid offer and after giving my acceptance, only to have the rug pulled out from under me. This caused me to lose two other offers as well. Good luck dealing with this company. It should be mentioned, ASPE Training is affiliated with Fortis College and this COO's decisions not only reflects badly on ASPE Training as a company but also Fortis College, since they are affiliated. Again... beware!!!
