I applied for the position and was contacted by a recruiter a few days after to schedule an interview. We agreed on a specific day and time. However, on the interview day, I received an email from another HR team member informing me that the interviewer had to cancel due to personal reasons. So, we rescheduled for another day, and I eventually had a successful interview with an HR representative.
Following that, I was informed that I’d moved on to the second stage, which involved interviews with the hiring manager and a team member. This interview also went well, but after that, I received no further communication—no invitation to a third round, nor a rejection.
Frankly, it’s unprofessional not to provide feedback to candidates, whether positive or negative, as we invest significant time preparing and attending interviews. Companies should be respectful of candidates’ time and efforts.
