I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AXA (Pune) in May 2021

      Interview

They first shortlist the candidate on the basis of resume. I had two rounds of interview. The first one was with the manager and assistant manager. They try to ask some technical questions and general questions based on the resume. Then the next round of interview was with the project head manager. He tried to know more specifically of the technical aspects. He also checks the thinking ability of the candidate.

      Actuarial Interview

      31 Jan 2018
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AXA (New York, NY) in Jan 2018

      Interview

Initial interview was over the phone. Simple behavioral questions and friendly chatter. Next step was a series of video interviews with four different people. Make sure you can talk about one or two projects you've worked on in Excel and that you know enough about AXA to explain why you like the company and why you'd like to work with them. Pretty straightforward for the most part and everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Explain a concept from Exam P to someone who has absolutely no knowledge of insurance or probability.
