Spoke with the hiring manager a week later. Probably because of the timing around the holidays, I didn't move onto the on-site interview process until a month later. I didn't hear back for several weeks and eventually received a canned rejection email.

first with hiring manager, sencond with general manager, people are nice and friendly but me not comply their standard. overall, it's a gentle process and could give it a try.
