I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch
Interview
I was previously a part-time employee with the company and knew my District Manager for many years so the interview was rather informal. It took place in the mall food court as they do for anyone interviewing for a management position. It did take over a month for her to find me an open position in a store since a lot of other part-timers had also graduated and applied at the same time as me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None of the questions were difficult and were all focused on teamwork so it became difficult to provide original answers.
The first step was one of those automated ones where you record your answers to prompts. There was no human being talking to you which is fine it is just something that is difficult to get used to.
Applied online and received an email about a week and a half later saying they wanted to schedule an interview, I responded and did not hear anything back so I called the store. I was told to wait another week since “interviews were sent on mondays”. I went into the store and met the manager the next week and she said she would send me the interview link. Never did. Pretty ridiculous and unprofessional. Charleston location.

Question 1
None because they never actually scheduled one/sent me the link.
I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Bethesda, MD)
Interview
The interviewer was very nice and asked some follow up questions. She said they were going to message me in less than a week but I haven’t heard anything from them yet
