I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Spring, TX) in Nov 2011
Interview
Be likeable, not too bubbly and overdone, but cool and confident. Come in with minimal make up or hair product if you're a girl. Fix your hair neat if you're a boy. Dress preppy and fresh. They are not interested in individuality. Say you fold laundry at home or are OCD about things being neat and in place.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do if you saw that someone was stealing something from the store? (They teach you how to deal with this sort of ordeal, which happens all day, everyday)
One on one individual interview that encourages you to dress the part for the image of Abercrombie. Group interviews allow you share your thoughts while bouncing off of each others’ input.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.
I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
Small group interview in the mall round table questions. Easy, don’t copy the other answers that’s it. Hear back pretty quick. Overall great vibe would highly recommend it to college students
