I spent over two months interviewing with Abercrombie just for them to change their mind on the position entirely. Horrible and actually horrifying experience. The documentary was definitely right and unfortunately it seems not a lot has changed there.

The standard process included an initial HR screening, where the recruiter wasn't deeply familiar with the specifics of the role but instead emphasized company culture and highlighted the benefits of working there. salaries are super low comparatively, which they tried to justify based on Ohio HQ location
The interview was in a group setting, it was a bit overwhelming considering how many people were there but it seemed like a great glimpse into job expectations and company dynamics
