I applied online and had an initial interview with the hiring manager. I was then given a homework assignment to complete over a 2 week period, which essentially consisted of finding possible solutions that this role would need to solve with limited information. We reconvened to present my proposal (presentation). I had a follow up meeting two days later.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to solve a problem with limited or ambiguous information.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Abl Schools (Philadelphia, PA) in Jun 2021
Interview
I applied on LinkedIn, and the hiring manager reached out to me for an initial conversation about my background and goals, as well as to share additional information about Abl and their needs. After that, I did a take-home assignment analyzing a (simulated, I think) dataset. I then went over the homework assignment with the hiring manager. The last stage was a half-day interview: first, I presented the findings from my assignment to a cross-functional set of company employees, and then had a one-on-one with each employee of this set.
Unfortunately, I had to accept another company's offer before I could find out whether they would make me an offer.
At any rate, the interview process was a very positive experience. Everyone was very nice and responsive to communication throughout the process.

Question 1
One of the one-on-one's was with an engineer, and they asked lots of questions about the full pipeline of data analysis, from data ingestion to reporting. Other team members asked various sort of behavioral questions.

Interview
Strangest interview sequence I’ve yet experienced. Made it through first-round phone interview. Round two phone interview was with a “Lead” who made a conscious choice to not review my resume beforehand because she would rather “not be biased”. I was not impressed with her or our conversation. Never heard of such a thing!
