Overall, the whole experience was just a bit "off" for me. The initial interviewer seemed quite distracted and jittery throughout. I even noticed some personal tabs open on their browser when they shared their screen – not the most professional look. What struck me as odd was their lack of knowledge about crucial job details, like team size and job responsibilities. On top of that, the entire process felt rushed, leaving me with the impression that my time wasn't valued as much as theirs. I understand interviews take time, but it's a two-way street.
Moving on to the second interview with the Hiring Manager, it was a bit more professional, but the vibe conveyed a lack of enthusiasm. It left me questioning whether I'd want to work under someone who didn't seem to enjoy their role. Despite my positive outlook on the interview, I was surprised to be ghosted for about a month, only to receive a standard rejection email later on.
In the end, the whole experience felt peculiar, and I wish there had been more consideration for time on both sides. If this rushed and somewhat disengaged atmosphere reflects their company culture, I'm content with missing out on this opportunity.
Best of luck to everyone else in their search!
