      Line Leader/Production Tech Interview

      23 Apr 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Plymouth, MI
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Absopure (Plymouth, MI) in Mar 2013

      Interview

I first got in touch with Absopure at the packaging career fair at Michigan State University. It must have taken them a while to go through resumes or a new position might have opened up because it took about two months for them to call to get a hold of me. Going into the interview I was expecting to be interviewing for the line leader position, but since I did not have mechanical experience I would have to work my way up from a lower position. As far as the interview went a lot of it was leadership based questions about what actions you took with groups and how you acted as leader. There were also things about how hard of a worker you are and telling you to put in the hours to learn the position quickly. There was the typical why do you want this position too. Overall the experience was a pretty good one. One last thing I will say is there were three people in the interview. They all ended up being pretty nice, but it seems like one was in there to kind of intimidate you to see how you would react.

      Question 1

For the most part the questions were very common, however the one that caught me off-guard was how many hours is too much to work in a week?
