From remote (e.g. not at the interview) there was an online skills test and a few questions to answer via email. One question was standard but two others dealt with issues that would need to be covered by the in-person training (including knowing the company's internal policies for specific situations) and seeing information specific to the case. Being that I could not answer these questions fully without additional information, I was surprised to have gotten an interview.
It seemed like a laid back office. Friendly, chatty people. Ping pong table in office area. I arrived early for the interview. They were at least fifteen to twenty minutes late after the scheduled interview time to bring me in. It gave me the impression of a disorganized company compared to other interviews. I was basically asked to talk about prior experience and what customer service means to me. It was very quick and not worth the time. I was told they would get back to me with an answer even if it might be right before training. They apparently had a number of other people to interview. No further contact after the interview. The position has since been reposted in early to mid-November, despite supposedly so many others to interview. It is a seasonal position for the Christmas shopping season.
