Contacted firstly by a headhunter who I gave my salary expectations, they confirmed that were correct. After that, several phone interview with Adevinta's HR. Then another interview physically on their offices with team manager. As process went well so far, they ask for a technical project test. Before wasting more time I confirmed with HR that salary expectations can be fulfilled. Once project was finished, they reviewed it they seemed to be "thrilled" so another interview was scheduled with the team. They asked a lot of technical questions which some of them I probably didn't answer with the best explanation... Last phone call was to tell me that they want to contract me, but.......... Salary won't meet my initial expectations and they wanted to negotiate, but negotiation expected to go waaay to down (more than 5k lower) and I say so because they didn't really offered a number at the end. So... Why to waste everyone's time with interviews, tests, etc. If my initial expectations won't be accepted...
Probably the company would be great once you're in but the contracting process it's awfully and a lie
Turned out that I meet a college that did another process in Adevinta and had the very same experience...
