I had a lovely phone interview and moved onto the in-person and then never heard from them again. I met with several individuals and I found it was difficult for me to navigate the interview. They seemed unorganized in their process and didn’t ask the usual STAR or behavior based questions. People came and went- others knocking on the door, their emails and IM’s getting their attention. I met with the director of the Dept and he was pleasant to speak with. That was honestly the only 5 minutes I felt like anybody was really interested in knowing anything about me and my experience. I was bummed leaving the interview because it was obvious I didn’t get the job. However I stayed hopeful that they would be professional enough to at least send me an email. Nope- nothing. Not even a response to my follow-ups. Finally, 3 months after my interview I received an email that said the job was closed, even though I continue to see it being reposted. So disappointing.
