I applied for a position more than a year ago. I spoke with the recruiter at Aegis, David. We did a phone screen that lasted around half an hour and then i had to do a skills test. After that David informed me that the hiring manager passed on me. I appreciated him contacting me and telling me this over the phone. David always stayed in contact with me after that just to know how I was doing and keeping me posted with positions that he thought I could be interested in. It was probably 8 to 9 months later that he told me about a position that was going to open up and I thought it was one that would be a good fit. We did the phone screen again and did the test. I interviewed with the hiring manager in a matter of 2-3 weeks. I got a call back from David to let me know that the hiring manager was not going to proceed with an offer. It was one of those things where I really wanted to join Aegis because of the environment and the passion that I heard on the phone since day one, of first having the phone screen. I could hear it in his voice that he was rooting for me and really wanted me to get the job. I had a great experience in during the whole interview process and it was because of him. His energy and passion for the company is something that I had never seen before.
