I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aegisolve
Interview
The interview process was fairly simple. First was a phone screen with one of the engineers where we talked about my background. Next was the onsite about 3 weeks later where it was a panel interview with 3 other engineers. The bulk of the panel interview was a small written quiz on FIPS ( they will send you a PDF to study before the interview), behavioral and resume questions. A week later, I was suppose to interview with the CEO, Travis Spann, but since he was "busy", they offered me the position anyway. I assumed this interview with the CEO is less technical and more to see if there is a culture fit. Travis later sent me an email with the job offer package/benefits/details.
HOWEVER, since I was also in the final stages with another company, I politely emailed Travis asking for one week to really weigh out my options before I commit to a career path. Travis then replies with a one sentence email: "Thanks, but I take back my offer."
Never have I heard of something so unprofessional. Thank god I did not accept the offer right away. Felt like I dodged a bullet. Just from that email tells me how horrible the Aegisolve management is and how much I would kill myself if I had to wake up everyday to work for Travis.
TLDR: I WOULD STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM TRAVIS SPANN AND AEGISOLVE AS POSSIBLE. TOXIC MANAGEMENT.
ps: the engineers there seem like smart and good people, props to them for having the patience to work under such a horrible boss
