1. Touch base with HR, preety good meeting, not much knowledge about the job description
2. Leet Code exercise, absolutely no way that determines that I know how to program, so it's already a sign of an "old school" company
3. Technical interview, preety standard, it was good.
4. Another HR interview to negotiate salary. This is where everything started to crumble, I came into the process with very clear salary expectations, they tried to cut my request by 30%, then they tried to cut it by 5% and after confirmation in the meeting, the tried to cut it by 15%, negotiations were respectful, but it was basically retrading after I had already invested hours in this interview process. The first comment I got from the HR representative what that I had gotten the best score in a technical interview that he had ever seen. All 9s and 10s.
5. Supposed client interview ended up being a surprise technical interview with a member of the team, it went well.
6. The team went with another engineer, I got absolutely no feedback and was offered a position in a horrible project.
