      Project Manager Interview

      27 Oct 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Agility Robotics in Oct 2022

      Interview

I had an initial interview with a recruiter who was informative and she followed up by scheduling additional interviews. I had two additional interviews with Agility team members and they went very well. I was asked to put together a slide presentation explaining my previous project successes. Again, the recruiters were extremely helpful and punctual in providing feedback on the presentation before I was to give this presentation to a panel of people. The panel interview is where this was not as positive. I was asked continuously through the presentation to skip over slides. The team did ask questions but the meeting ended in a hurried manner. I could be wrong, but I felt like they had already made a decision about how they were proceeding with the position before my final interview. It felt like the panel of interviewers didn’t have the time for it. Unless your dealing with a new grad or an executive position, eliminating the slide presentation is a good idea. The panel interview should focus on questions directed at the candidates. No one on the panel emphasized the potential of their company which struck me as odd for a startup. Perhaps this is just a symptom of them having already made up their minds on the position. On a major positive note, the recruiter did follow up with me after the interview and I commend her on a high level of professionalism.
