Got to meet the whole team. First interview was with team lead and senior dev, during the interview I got to meet the rest of the team. Second was a Code challenge. I was asked to code in a language I had previously stated minimal experience in, so I prepared for it the best I can, when I got into the room they said I could choose any language I wanted, Dropped communication between software team and HR.
Final interview was with the company owner, Very friendly and positive man.
After the final interview I heard nothing from AirWeigh for 4 weeks. I reached out to there HR department, and they said they would get back to me in a week. Never heard back. Did my part, I reached out again 2 weeks later, was told that decision hadn't been made yet, but they would be in touch. Haven't heard back since.
AirWeigh's lack of communication and commitment to their people was apparent during the interview process, and after meeting the team members. As a potential new team member I felt of no value to to the company. I got alot of bad feedback from team about the company as a whole, and to gain more information and insight about other teams at AirWeigh I requested to speak with another teams lead. That request was denied as it was too far out of their "standard hiring process". There are major culture issues at Air Weight, but has the ability to be a great workplace, if they were to apply themselves.
