Interview was quick and seamless and made an offer on the spot. The background is really extensive and takes a long time not sure why. In my experience it took over 30 days to start.

Went well, till after the interview when called and asked to verify more. Guess that could not be done in the interview. Worried about hazmat endorsement and time frame to get it. But hires another that still does not have the endorsement. Says get two of the three done before we can go forward with an offer. Did that and still got screwed. Be careful of this guy.

Recruiter called, than manager called and had pre phone interview, set appointment up for a road test evaluation, a drug screen, interview and orientation. Both people I spoke with were extremely professional and courteous. And they weren't salesman. Which is all I've dealt with in other companies. So far air gas seems like they're a superb fit for employment.
