      Senior Product Manager Interview

      29 Jul 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Aiwyn

      Interview

I went through 3 interview rounds and then a take home task. They dropped me after the take home task. The interview questions were standard for a product manager interview and the people were very nice and personable, making the interview feel comfortable and natural rather than high stakes. However, they dropped me after the take home task and provided no feedback on it all which makes me think that maybe they're exploiting candidates for outside opinions on the problems they're trying to solve...

Thank you for taking the time to share your interview experience with us. We deeply appreciate the effort you put into progressing through the multiple stages of our interview process, and we’re glad to hear that our team made your experience personable and comfortable. We sincerely apologize that our communication did not meet your expectations after the take-home task. We aim to be transparent and supportive throughout our hiring process, and we regret any impression of neglect you felt. Feedback is crucial, we will work to ensure more consistent communication with all candidates. Regarding your concern about the use of take-home tasks, we want to clarify that we design these assignments based on scenarios and challenges we have previously resolved or are no longer active areas of development. We employ these tasks to gauge a candidate’s approach to problem-solving and alignment with our product management practices without compromising the confidentiality and integrity of our current projects. We value your feedback and are committed to improving our processes. - The Aiwyn Team

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aiwyn in May 2025

      Interview

The entire interview cycle with Aiwyn was great, with prompt feedback from the recruiter and authentic conversations with the people involved in the process. The Aiwyn team helped me get a sense for their culture and the way they work not just by giving me time to ask direct questions but also in the way they themselves framed questions and how they got to know me as a professional. As we were nearing the final stages, they really internalized what I was looking for in my next role, making the post-offer process smooth and easy.
