I applied online. I interviewed at Alabama Education Association (Montgomery, AL) in Nov 2020
Interview
Disappointing. I was interviewed by a committee of about 10 current/former/committee members. 1 seemed as if he could barely read. Several questions focused on race and discrimination and not on the realities facing the organization. Even worse is the fact that I applied for the position about 9 months before the interview finally occurred. Very slow decision making process. Probably explains why AEA has lost so much political influence and does not truly represent education in Alabama.
