I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Portland, OR) in Jan 2016
Interview
Video audition interview followed by a quick phone call and group interview. I approached the registration table on the dot punctual and walked into a very inappropriate office gossip session by the table of three women. The group interview goes over perks and benefits then 1 on 1 quick standard five question form...my questions were all different than what was being stated in the holding area. They either then gave you a second interview or cut you loose. Despite my extensive background and positive attitude, even though negativity ran out of a couple candidates mouths that did get moved forward, I was sent walking. Not even a chance from the start it seemed like. I had high hopes for Alaska airlines but not after what I witnessed today. I would have made a good fit, and wasn't socializing with the other candidates who made it clear the benefits (perks) were the only reason they were there
Several typical questions, very easy. Lasted less than 30 mins. They were eager to hire, it looks like. Let me know about the result of the interview the same day.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Palm Springs, CA)
Interview
I applied for the CSA position and answered about 50 questions . I was invited to a pre orientation presentation via Zoom. There were about 35 people on the call. It lasted an hour. Individuals were not asked any questions , but you could ask questions . We were told we would hear within the next few days if chosen for a one on one interview. Basically they have their mind made up since they do not get to know you .

Very simple, easy, and straight forward. All you have to do is go into the interview, and be yourself. Smile a lot and show the recruiters why you are the right person for the job
