      Senior Account Executive Interview

      4 Nov 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Alchemer (Denver, CO) in Oct 2024

      Interview

Scheduling with the talent recruiter was unorganized. They said they wanted to fill the position quickly, but days went between comms and follow-ups went unanswered. Interview with the hiring manager was... awkward at best. They were late, kept looking past the camera, took lengthy pauses and was more focused on "taking notes" instead of interacting with me, hardly asked me anything outside of a couple rudimentary sales questions. Confidently assured me I'd be hearing from their team, which I did: an automated rejection email. No additional feedback upon request. While I didn't receive an offer, I do feel that I dodged a bullet.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Alchemer in Dec 2025

      Interview

I applied online, and talked to the talent acquisition specialist. It was very disorganized from the beginning. Communication was off and confusing. He was late to the meeting and didn't apologize. I'm surprised I made it to the second round because he seemed very uninterested in the conversation. My meeting with the sales director went well. The only thing that struck me as strange was that he and the person I talked to from Talent Acquisition had different timelines of the company. It was embarrassing to relay incorrect information back to the Sales Director, and I can't help but wonder if it hurt me in the interview process.

Thank you for sharing this feedback we really appreciate you taking the time. I’m sorry to hear that your experience felt disorganized and that communication wasn’t as clear as it should have been. That’s not the experience we aim to create, and I understand how frustrating that must have been, especially when it comes to inconsistent information during the process. I’m glad to hear your conversation with the Sales Director was a positive one, but it’s on us to make sure every part of the experience feels aligned and respectful of your time. We’ll take this feedback back to the team and use it to improve. We’re always working to make our process more consistent and transparent, and input like this really does help. Wishing you the best in your search, and thanks again for your honesty.
